Star Performer & Other Outstanding Employees Honored in the DOM
The Employee Recognition Review Committee (R3) of the Department of Medicine (DOM) completed its bimonthly review of all nominees. The program, which honors outstanding service by DOM employees, named Diana Pierre, Senior Medical Secretary, Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, as the top "Star Performer" of this review cycle. Known for her professional and effective manner in working with colleagues, physicians, and patients alike for more than 10 years, Diana is compassionate in dealing with patients and considered to be a passionate advocate in support of their needs. She was given a gift certificate and received her Star Performer medallion. The other star performers honored for this cycle were: Monique Carasso (Gastroenterology & Hepatology); Fabiola Giron (Women’s Health Center); Lee Ann Lorejo (Cardiology); and Tony Nepomuceno (Weight Management & Metabolic Research Center).
