Employee Recognition Program Honors First "Star Performer" & Other Outstanding Employees

The Employee Recognition Review Committee (R3) of the Department of Medicine (DOM) completed its first bimonthly review of all nominees. The program, which honors outstanding service by DOM employees, named Nadine Miranda, Senior Patient Coordinator, Iris Cantor Women's Center, as the top "Star Performer" of this first review cycle.

She was given a gift certificate, and Dr. Etingin and Dr. Midoneck congratulated her on-site when she received her Star Performer medallion. A patient nominated Nadine Miranda, noting her "exceptional efficiency" and "the respect she shows in dealing with patients." Also receiving medals for outstanding service: Ramsey Abdallah, Data Control Assistant (Hematology/Medical Oncology); Erika Florendo, Staff Associate (Hematology and Medical Oncology); Odina Lewis, Senior Clerk (Hospital Medicine); Voula Papoutsis, Senior Administrative Aide (Cardiology); Nadine Sylvain, Accountant I (Administration).
