Phase II study of ixabepilone in patients with metastatic breast cancer and a prospective evaluation of its effects on the ultrastructure of neurons

Study Description

This study will look at neurological changes in patients with metastatic breast cancer who receive ixabepilone chemotherapy.

Key Eligibility

• Age 18 and over
  
• Stage IV breast cancer
  
• Life expectancy greater than 3 months
