A Phase 2 Trial of 177Lu Radiolabeled Monoclonal Antibody HuJ591-GS (177Lu-J591) in Patients with Metastatic Androgen-Independent Prostate Cancer

Study Description

The purpose of this study is to find out how effective the experimental drug 177Lu -J591 is in the treatment of patients with metastatic, androgen-independent prostate cancer (prostate cancer cells that do not depend on androgen for growth).

Patients will receive a single dose of 177Lu-J59 by IV infusion. One imaging study will be performed 1 week after treatment to confirm antibody targeting. Patients will be followed over the course of 12 weeks with close monitoring, including physician visits and bloodwork.

Key Eligibility

  • Men age 18 and older
  • Metastatic, hormone-refractory prostate cancer with evidence of progressive disease
  • May have received prior chemotherapy
  • Limited prior radiation therapy to the skeleton
  • Adequate blood counts
  • Additional eligiiblity criteria disussed when you contact the study team
