Academic Interests:

Ernie Esquivel is board certified in internal medicine and nephrology. He conducted research on the genetic basis of renal diseases, including polycystic kidney disease and nephrotic syndrome. His current academic interests are in optimizing inpatient health care delivery, evidence-based practice, and medical education.
